Please Give wins Robert Altman Award

"Please Give" will be awarded the Robert Altman Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on  February 26th, 2011.

The award goes to the movie's director, Nicole Holfcener, its casting director, Jeanne McCarthy, and its ensemble cast, including Ann Guilbert, Rebecca Hall, Catherine Keener, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Lois Smith, and Sarah Steele.

Entertainment Weekly calls for a nomination

US viewers who get TV Land will be able to watch Ann in an episode of "I Dream of Jeannie" on
Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 9:38 AM.

In the episode, "Jeannie For The Defense," Jeannie comes to the rescue when Tony and Roger become victims of a hit-and-run scam in a small town.

USA Today on Oscar contenders

USA Today recently posted an article called "Oscar, don't overlook these worthy potential contenders" which mentioned "Please Give" as well as singling out Ann's performance as worthy of an Oscar nomination for Actress in a Supporting Role.
